Press Release Summary: LONDON -February 28, 2008- The majority of families is spread
out beyond their home countries and 40% even have relatives beyond continental
borders. The surprisingly high figures were the result of a questionnaire conducted
by family networking site Kindo.com and show how international today's families have
become.

Press Release Body: The more than 1600 answers from 54 different countries show
quite significant national differences as well. Among the featured countries, Russia
is the one with the highest share of international families: 76% have relatives
outside Russia. Turkish families in contrast seem to be very local as only 32% have
family members living outside Turkey.

"Those figures indicate that Kindo is on the right path with offering a global
network that caters for the needs of international families," says Mario Ruckh, who
managed the poll at Kindo.

The core of Kindo's free webservice is a collaborative family tree, and the
information added by family members. Additional features, such as family news, a
family calendar, and statistics, all make it easier for international families to
stay in touch with each other.

The poll ran during the last three months on the Blog of Kindo and made use of
technology to identify and eliminate double votes. It was conducted in nine
different languages in order to get answers from all over the world.
